east wick and sweetwater win
12 March 2015
are thrilled to be part of the successful Balfour Beatty and Places for People
team which has been selected to build 1,500 new homes at East Wick and
Sweetwater bordering the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
We supported Balfour Beatty and Places for People throughout the rigorous bidding process; developing landscape proposals under the creative direction of Urban Splash in collaboration with Architects Studio Egret West, Sheppard Robson, Astudio, Alison Brookes Architects, Piercy and Co and Shedkm.
East Wick and Sweetwater will define a considerable proportion of the western frontage of Queen Elizabeth Park, stitching together the park, new neighbourhoods and existing communities. Open routes and framed views across the site to key landmarks will increase the impact of investment in park infrastructure, providing access and opportunity to the surrounding area.
