HLR batch under construction
21 May 2015
Bishop's Hatfield Girls' School, Goffs School, Stopsley School and Kings Langley School are four new secondary schools in which the external environments are being designed by fabrik as part of the Hertfordshire, Luton and Reading Priority School Building Programme with the Interserve Kajima consortium.
The proposed buildings are to be built on the existing school sites, with the landscape designed to incorporate cohesive principles which provide site-wide learning and socialising opportunities including habitat spaces, science gardens and external dining zones with strong connections between internal and external areas. Proposals develop links between external sports facilities and the wider environment, enabling safe use of the grounds by staff, students, visitors and members of the local community both during and outside school hours.
