woodberry down, london
fabrik’s landscape masterplan for one of the largest estate redevelopment projects in London incorporates 4600 new homes, including a 27 storey tower, a lifelong learning campus, retail, youth, community and health centres.
The development is located on the banks of the New River and West Reservoir, with enhanced riverside walkways linking to the Capital Ring. A series of linear parks, courtyards, squares and communal gardens extend from the site’s ecological margins into the scheme’s urban core. Green infrastructure is further enhanced by intensive and extensive roof gardens.
fabrik have developed successful bid proposals through to working drawings for Kickstart sites 1, 2, 3 and 5 under the HCA’s Housing Stimulus Programme. We undertook a Townscape Impact Assessment of Kickstart site 1, and were involved in extensive public consultation and stakeholder presentations.
