explore bipolar

In 2012 fabrik supported Explore BiPolar which was set up to raise awareness and funds for Bipolar UK. This is a small national charity with a big heart and a great mission to enable people affected by Bipolar to take control of their lives.

The 1180 mile ‘Highs and Lows’ Lands End to John O'Groats, off-road cycle ride was an Explore BiPolar event. The ride took in one of the lowest points in the UK at Portishead, which is 5 metres below sea level at low tide, and ascended Ben Nevis in the Grampians, which at 1344 metres is the highest point in the British Isles. Johnny Rath was part of the core cycling and fund raising teams, and members of staff sponsored and joined the event. The money raised will fund a ground breaking initiative to mentor and train young adults to deal with the impacts of being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder.
