pathway to chartership success

13 June 2014

Congratulations to all who recently gained Chartered Landscape Architect status!

fabrik is delighted to announce that Ed Manning and Mark Evans have successfully followed the Landscape Institute’s Pathway to Chartership to gain full professional qualification. Ed was mentored internally by Catherine Birkin.

Well done!

We appreciate the hard work, effort and commitment of candidates and mentors which complements and formalises experience gained through project work.

The Pathway to Chartership is one aspect of career-long reflective learning and professional development which the practice actively seeks to support. We do this by providing mentors within the organisation, covering the cost of registration and the exam fee, giving paid study leave and allowing time each month for mentors and students to meet.

Ed and Mark passed the exam first time so are eligible for bonuses. These are given in recognition of the benefits gained by the practice, and as an incentive to candidates. Cath will also receive a bonus in acknowledgement of her efforts as a mentor. These awards are thoroughly deserved and just reward for all their hard work.
